FAQ

What qualifies as a locally owned restaurant?

Restaurants listed here are independently owned and operated in Cumberland County. They are not national chains and are rooted in the local community.

How can I filter restaurants by cuisine or neighborhood?

Use the Categories filters to browse by cuisine type, and the Regions filters to narrow results by area or neighborhood. You can also use the search bar to find a specific restaurant by name.

Can I switch between grid and list views?

Yes. Use the View controls above the results to toggle between Grid and List views depending on how you prefer to browse.

What does “Recommended” mean in the Sort options?

“Recommended” is an automated sort designed to surface restaurants that are a good fit for visitors based on relevance and popularity. You can also sort by Near Me or browse using the map.

How does the “Near Me” feature work?

Selecting Near Me shows restaurants closest to your current location. Your browser may ask for permission to access your location.

Why isn’t my favorite restaurant listed?

A restaurant may not appear if:

  • It is not locally owned or independently operated.
  • The listing is missing required information or images.
  • The business has not yet been submitted or approved.

If you believe a restaurant should be included, encourage the owner to submit or update their listing through our business submission form.

How can restaurant owners get listed or update information?

Restaurant owners can submit or update their listing using the Get Your Business Listed form. Keeping photos, menus, and hours up to date helps visitors plan their visit.

Are hours, menus, and prices always current?

Information is provided by each restaurant and may change. We recommend confirming hours, menus, and pricing directly with the restaurant before visiting.
