FAQ

Who is the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau? The Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB) is the official destination organization that supports meetings and events in Greater Fayetteville. We are currently doing business as DistiNCtly Fayetteville, and our team and services remain the same.
What kinds of meetings and groups can you help with?
DistiNCtly Fayetteville supports conferences, trainings, corporate retreats, board meetings, associations, reunions, and social gatherings. If you are not sure where your event fits, submit an RFP and we will route it appropriately.
How do I submit a Request for Proposal (RFP)?
Use the Request for Proposal link on this page. Include your preferred dates, estimated attendance, meeting space needs, guest room needs, and any special requirements so venues can respond accurately.
How far in advance should I start planning?
Many groups start 6 to 18 months out, but smaller meetings can often be planned in a shorter window. If your dates are coming up quickly, submit an RFP anyway and we will help you find the best available options.
Can you help with hotel room blocks?
Yes. Share your estimated room nights, preferred price range, and must-have amenities. We can help you compare options and connect with hotels to secure blocks that fit your group.
What transportation options are available for meeting attendees?
Options may include airport access, rideshare, rental cars, and group shuttle or charter services. See the Transportation section on this page for planning resources and current details.
Do you have maps or planning tools I can share with attendees?
Yes. Visit the Maps section for downloadable and digital resources that help attendees navigate venues, hotels, dining, and attractions.
Can you recommend dining, off-site venues, or group activities?
Absolutely. We can suggest local restaurants, attractions, and group-friendly experiences that match your schedule and budget. Tell us your group size, timing, and preferred vibe and we will build a shortlist.
Who do I contact if I have questions before submitting an RFP?
Use the Our Team or Contact links on this page to reach the meetings team. Share your dates, attendance estimate, and event type and we will respond with next steps.
