National Recording Artist Bishop William Murphy III headlines April 30th Closing Event

Fayetteville, NC – Ministries and individuals from thirty states and two countries are attending the 12th annual D4H Mega Mime Conference April 28th through April 30th in Fayetteville, NC.   The conference is one of the largest mime conferences in the United States. Over 1,700 people are expected to attend the three-day conference, which is held at Simon Temple AME Zion Church.

The conference concludes with a massive mime and dance concert at the Crown Theater.  Open to the public, the concert features the Paneh Mime Troop, national recording artist Bishop William Murphy III, Pastor Rod Lumpkin, Dr. Delainey Bouie, Pastor Vernon Gordon and many others.  “The concluding concert is always an indescribable, breathtaking experience,” says Tania Roman, participant.  “To see everyone moving together is stunning.”   See a video here:

In 2006, The Paneh Mime Ministries International of Durham, led by Pastors Timothy & Chandra Midgette, established a mime troop ages 5 and older. The Paneh Mime Troop provides individuals and groups with choreography, training, conference development and production. The Troop involves adults, high school, college students, and youth.
