FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB) is pleased to announce that the destination has been selected to co-host the Singles State Championships for USTA North Carolina, October 1-4, 2026.
Eight tennis facilities in Cumberland County, including the new Courts at Glenville Lake, and five in Moore County will host matches during this tournament.
In total, the tournament is expected to bring 800 players, fans, and family members to the area, which will drive overnight stays and visitors' spending at local hotels, restaurants, and businesses. This marks a strong win for Cumberland County's sports tourism efforts, reinforcing the destination's ability to attract and host high-profile sporting events.
