DistiNCtly Fayetteville, the destination marketing organization (DMO) for the greater Fayetteville, North Carolina area, announces the launch of The Can Do Academy, a transformative online training program created to equip the local community with the knowledge to deliver engaging visitor experiences.
As one of the first DMOs in North Carolina to launch this initiative, The Can Do Academy underscores Distinctively Fayetteville’s commitment to positively impacting the destination’s tourism economy. The academy is a free, interactive learning experience open to anyone. It features 37 comprehensive lessons primarily designed to empower front-line workers at hotels, attractions, restaurants, and retailers with a deeper knowledge of Cumberland County’s tourism assets.
The curriculum offers an in-depth exploration of the region’s cultural and historical landmarks, dining establishments, entertainment venues, and community events, ensuring that participants gain a well-rounded understanding of the area. Through multimedia content and real-world scenarios, learners will develop the skills needed to share Fayetteville’s unique experiences with visitors confidently.
