Event to be held August 24 at the Crown Expo Center

Cumberland County, NC –   In late July, Amy Karpinski, Director of Sports Marketing at the Fayetteville Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (FACVB), was meeting with a local lodging property when they asked for help dealing with the staffing challenges they faced. After talking with other professionals in our lodging industry and finding they faced similar issues, Karpinski proposed the FACVB organize a hospitality job fair. Bureau leadership agreed.

The Hospitality Job Fair is for Cumberland County business in the lodging and/or food and beverage segments to recruit staff for a variety of positions. “The needs are from housekeeping to management,” says Karpinski.

The Job Fair, which was developed in partnership with NC Works, the Crown Center, the Greater Fayetteville Chamber and Cool Springs Downtown District, will be held on August 24 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Crown Expo Center.

A 10x10 booth, table, and drape will be provided for each participating business. NC Works will be on site offering resources for both employers and potential employees.

Businesses can register Here for the free event.
