Spring is in the air, and flowers are in bloom, so it must be time for the annual Fayetteville Dogwood Festival! Mark your calendars for April 26-28 and then make a beeline downtown with family and friends.

Dogwood Festival Park Plaza Traffic

This marks the event’s 42nd year, so come help celebrate the granddaddy of all Fayetteville bashes. Like always, the Dogwood Festival will offer a weekend full of live entertainment, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and fabulous food options.

Festivities start Friday night at Festival Park with the 82nd Airborne Division’s official rock band, Riser Burn. Formed in 2005, the all-paratrooper group serves as musical ambassadors by connecting soldiers, families, and the local community through rock music.

Did we mention food? Area food trucks and vendors will be camped out at Festival Park Plaza tempting patrons heading to the nearby Carnival area. Expect thrilling rides, games, and other attractions like years past.

Don’t forget to stay hydrated, either. Beer vendors will be aplenty this year, like always. Craft beers and IPA lovers can also choose from tasty favorites from local restaurants and bars.

Then burn off those calories hitting the cobblestone streets again for the annual crafts fair both Saturday and Sunday. Everything from tie-dyed T-shirts and bandanas to handmade jewelry and portraits will be available.

Don’t forget to wander past the downtown traffic circle and down city side streets. You might find that perfect little something for you or a loved one.

Then back toward Festival Park Plaza for even more merry food, fun, and drink – because it’s Dogwood Festival time - and everyone is invited!
