99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer...Cumberland County's new craft beer community produces some next-level brews! Here are some of our favorite spots to stop for a sip on the beer trail.

SIP 1: HECKLER BREWING CO.

Heckler Brewing Company, located at 5780 Ramsey Street Suite 102, is where your most challenging decision will be...which beer to start with! From an Irish Red Ale to their Strawberry Dagger, work your way through 14 different options!

SIP 2: GASTON BREWING CO.

Gaston Brewing Company is up next. I'm partial to their Namaste Lavender Ale or the Velvet Art Blackberry Ale, but whatever your flavor profile is I guarantee they've got you covered! Not beer-related, but an important part of enjoying adult beverages--their food is exceptional! They set the standard of elevated bar food around these parts!

SIP 3: BRIGHT LIGHT BREWING

Bright light, big flavor! Bright Light Brewing has been fueling us on great beer and good times for quite some time now. With names like Show Me Your Blooms, Peach Fuzz, and Banana Hammick, it's pretty clear they take beer and fun seriously!

SIP 4: MASH HOUSE BREWING

If you like your craft beer served up with a lovely steak dinner, Mash House Brewing is the spot for you! Mash House delivers both and they do it well. Fun Fact: they go above and beyond to source their beef and ingredients from NC Farmers! Cheers!
