July 4th FAYcation
July 4 / Maxwell Street
Staying in town for 4th of July? Make it a FAYcation and attend the evening block party in the heart of Downtown Fayetteville! World-renowned reggae/dancehall performer Patra and local DJs on the ones & twos will provide the entertainment. A beer garden, BBQ, yard games, water fun, and more will provide everything else!
Independence Concert and Fireworks
July 4 / Festival Park
Grab the lawn chairs and blankets to watch a free Independence Concert and Fireworks by the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra at Festival Park with friends and family! Then stick around for the free display provided by the City of Fayetteville and Sandhills Jazz Society. Live fireworks are way better when seen in person!
4th at the Fort Celebration
July 4 / Fort Liberty Main Post Parade Field
Fort Liberty's (formerly Fort Bragg) 4th at the Fort Celebration is the granddaddy of area fireworks shows with free-fall parachuters, a flag ceremony, food and beverages, and of course, fireworks. And don't forget the music! This year's entertainers include singer Gavin DeGraw and headliner Sheryl Crow. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early due to heavy traffic.
