A Public House, or “Pub” for short, is a central part of Irish culture, often referred to as “the local” by patrons. The pub owner of an authentic Irish pub is a revered member of the community. These owners don’t just love fun; they are deeply committed to helping patrons enjoy their experience. A Public House offers a low-key laid-back environment designed for relaxing, meeting up with friends, and enjoying live music on occasion.
Authentic, deeply committed, and revered community member are the words that jump about Patrick Gibney, the Irish owner affectionately known as Paddy. Paddy’s is a very clear representation of its owner, an ever-evolving, warm, friendly space that is a gallery of sorts, filled with exceptional details. Intentional, down to the cherries in its impeccable smoked old-fashioned, this is not a bar. This is a Public House, his beautifully crafted and meticulously curated interpretation of a Public House.
There are no strangers at Paddy’s, only friends who have yet to meet.
The familial energy that the team at Paddy’s provides is not something you will find just anywhere. The team team functions very much like a family and it shows. You feel it, because it doesn’t matter if it’s Erin, Lindsey, Tammy, Jess, Justin, Braxton, Paddy, Pickel, or Pepper greeting you, they are happy to see you. Always a smile, always the warmest of greetings, all are always welcomed.
Very much in line with the community and the family-forward mentality of Paddy’s is collaboration. Collaboration with other local businesses. Whether The Pub, The Patio, or The Church, every night brings a different experience.
Wednesdays are for workshops on The Patio with Johanna of The Downtown Market. Succulents, Charcuterie, Jewelry, Trucker Hats, and more every week offer a new opportunity to learn about, create, and leave with your very own creation, knowledge, and unique experience. Art Attack in collaboration with Shawn Adkins of Back-A-Round Records at The Church, is an unbelievable experience of art in all its many forms. Live music, live painting, live makeup artistry and you most definitely can get one of the coolest photos of your life taken by Yaril Rivera. Every week brings a different experience, Music Bingo happens on Wednesdays on The Pub side too,
Thursdays are for laughs! The Locals Comedy brings their unique Comedy Couch every other week, while The Church presents Comedy & Cocktails on the alternate ones. When your face can’t take laughing anymore, everyone heads to The Pub Side for Paddy’s Pub Idol & Karaoke popping off after the weekly CA$$$H Dart Tourney wraps up.
Fridays bring World-Class CA$$$H Trivia to The Church, and on The Pub Side, you will find Grown-up Spelling Bees and Dance Parties!
Every 2nd and 4th Saturdays are for Dance Lessons with Kat & Roland of Roland’s Dance Studio in The Church. This Dynamic Duo brings 3 generations of world-class dancing experience with them. After the lesson keep the party going because the fun doesn’t stop when the lessons are over.

Intentional, down to the cherries in its impeccable smoked old-fashioned, this is not a bar. This is a Public House, his beautifully crafted and meticulously curated interpretation of a Public House.
Paddy's latest addition is a true labor of love in every sense of the word - Sandymount Properties, Beyond exceptional, this collection of Air B&B’s, a mere stroll from Paddy’s, is by far one of the coolest ventures they have produced. The care, craftsmanship, and unbelievable details of these unique properties are unmatched. While every individual unit offers its own unique personality, one thing is consistent: they have provided you with every single thing you could possibly want or need. Blackstone grills, putting greens, and water features are dreamy, chic, cozy, and mind-blowing all at the same time.
Young Patrick Gibney’s arrival in Fayetteville may have been a bit accidental, but the mark he has made on our community has been very much intentional. So if you haven’t experienced the absolute treasure that is Paddy’s Irish Public House remember this, “there are no strangers at Paddy’s, only friends who have yet to meet.”
