A Weekend of Festivities: From Hope Mills to Festival Park
The celebration begins Friday, June 13th at Dirtbag Ales Brewery & Taproom in Hope Mills with the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Liberty & Legacy Celebration. Friday evening’s Art Crawl (7–10 p.m.) is a can’t-miss mix of vibrant art, music, a curated night market, and gourmet food trucks. The atmosphere? Electric and unforgettable.
Saturday, June 24th, continues the vibe from 12–10 p.m. with an open-air market filled with handcrafted goods, live performances, and immersive cultural experiences—all in the welcoming, inclusive spirit that defines Cumberland County.
Back in Fayetteville, families will love the Juneteenth Bash (12–3 p.m.)—a block-party style event hosted by local recreation centers. It’s a celebration built for all ages, complete with live music, bounce houses, games, and delicious eats.
Juneteenth Jubilee: The Heart of the Celebration
The weekend crescendos at Festival Park with Fayetteville’s signature event: the 5th Annual Juneteenth Jubilee (Saturday, June 14, 3–9 p.m.). This year’s theme, Sovereign, honors the legacy of Black women—past and present—through a soul-stirring mix of education and entertainment.
