Volunteer Qualifications

• Desire to meet and interact with people
• Passionate about educating the populous on everything Cumberland County has to offer.
• Ability to give clear and concise directions and information
• Strong and reliable work ethic
• Demonstrate great teamwork
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

Duties and Requirements

• Commit to at least one activation/registration booth per month
• Greet, assist, and educate visitors in a welcoming manner for our activation/registration booths
• Respond to requests for information by giving accurate information
• Monitor and distribute brochures and other information as appropriate
• Collect information such as, but not limited to, number of visitors for reporting purposes
• Educate self on community events and happenings
• Wear the volunteer uniform (t-shirt and name tag provided) while volunteering
• Use initiative in providing above-and-beyond customer service 
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
